推荐理由：毛泽东送给陕公的两件“礼物”，是中国共产党取得革命胜利的两件重要法宝，也充分体现了毛泽东对青年一代成长成才的关心爱护和殷切希望。习近平总书记指出，青年一代有理想、有本领、有担当，国家就有前途，民族就有希望。在新时代新起点，青年要承担起历史使命，必须以坚定正确的政治方向领航，发扬艰苦奋斗的传统，将个人理想汇入时代洪流，为实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦建功立业。

1937年8月，中共中央政治局创办陕北公学。陕北公学简称“陕公”，是我们党根据抗战形势创办的一所具有统一战线性质的澳门沙金在线平台。陕公的办学时间很短，但毛泽东为其办学和发展给予了极大关心和支持，先后十多次到陕公讲话，其中“两件礼物”的故事就是源自他在陕公的第六次讲话。

In August 1937, Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee founded Shaanbei Public School. The school, shortened as “Shaan Public”, has the feature of the united front established by the Party according to the actual situation of the Anti-Japanese War. Although the school had been founded for a short period, Mao Zedong paid great attention and gave great support to its foundation and development. Mao gave more than ten speeches at the school, the story of “Two Gifts” was excerpted from the sixth one.

1938年4月1日，陕公举行第二期开学典礼。毛泽东参加典礼并发表讲话说：中国共产党对于今天的开学是很高兴的，因此，我很光荣地代表中国共产党欢迎各位同志。像那天我说过的，你们不为升官发财，而且，准备着或者正在准备着牺牲生命参加抗战。你们这样的一千五六百人，为什么不到别处去，而到这里来呢？我想是由于你们对共产党的信仰，如果不是中共中央在这里，你们不会来的。

On April 1st, 1938, Shaan Public held the opening ceremony of the second course. Mao Zedong attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, “the Communist Party of China is glad to see the opening of Shaan Public school. And I am honored to welcome all comrades on behalf of the Party. As I said that day, you comrades are not seeking promotion or wealth, but are fully prepared or preparing to sacrifice for the war. Why, almost fifteen or sixteen hundred people like you, came here instead of somewhere else? I think that is out of your faith in the Communist Party. If the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China wasn’t here, you wouldn’t be here, either.”

面对学员，毛泽东讲道：今天陕公开学，我应当送点礼物。但是，我没有多少东西，只能送你们两件礼物。第一件，是坚定不移的政治方向。第二件，是艰苦奋斗的工作作风……我的礼物就是这两件，好不好，你们再想一想。我想是有用处的，只要我们有一个一致的政治方向，有艰苦奋斗的工作作风，而且坚持这一方向和作风，就可能把全国人民团结起来，就能战胜日本帝国主义。

Facing the students, Mao Zedong said:“ Today is the opening day of your school. I should have sent some gifts. However, I don’t have many belongings, so I just wish you’d have two things. The first one is the unwavering political orientation. The second one is the spirit of hard working... These two are my “gifts”. Are they qualified enough? You can ponder over them. I think these will be helpful. As long as we have the same direction of political faith, the spirit of hard working, and can always stick to it, it is possible for us to unite all the Chinese people and defeat Japanese imperialism eventually.”

历史和事实证明，毛泽东送给陕公的两件“礼物”，也是中国共产党取得革命胜利的两件法宝。今天，我们要赢得具有许多新的历史特点的伟大斗争的胜利，实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦，这两件“礼物”仍是鞭策我们不忘初心、牢记使命，做新时代奋斗者的法宝。

History and facts have proved that the two “gifts” given by Mao Zedong to Shaan Public were also the two magic weapons for the Communist Party of China to win the revolution. Today, these two “gifts” are still the magic weapons that can inspire us to stay true to our founding aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind, and become strugglers in the new era. It can also help us win the great struggle with many new historical features and eventually realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
