《永不消逝的“半部电台”》

推荐理由：中国工农红军经历了艰苦卓绝的岁月，战胜了难以想象的艰难困苦，最终取得了革命的胜利，成功的秘诀就在于当年的革命战士心怀理想、志存高远，不惜牺牲生命为了人民的幸福生活。故事从一台功能不全的发报机——“半个电台”讲起：经过精心修理的发报机，成了神奇的电台，侦听敌情、探测敌军的行动计划，发布红军歼敌的捷报，鼓舞士气和人民。就是从这“半个电台”发出信号的一刻起，红色电波从未消逝，红色中华通信社应运而生，后继发展壮大的就是我们屡立战功、名闻世界的中国人民解放军通讯兵。朋友们，还有什么比先烈们感人的故事、革命者留下的珍贵遗产更能激励我们努力奋进、珍爱今天的静好岁月呢？

The “Half Radio” Whose Red Signals Never Fade Out

这是一部有着传奇色彩的电台，1930年12月底，由红一方面军从敌人处缴获。

This is a legendary transmitter,which was captured by the First Front Army of the Red Army from the enemy at the end of December 1930.

半部电台

发报机已坏，只能收报，不能发报。就像一部电话，只能接听，却打不出去，可谓“半部电台”。

In fact, the radio had broken down, and can only receive telegrams, but can’t send any messages. It’s like a telephone that can only be answered but not made. The communicator, therefore, was described as a “Half Radio”.

对红军来说，这“半部电台”极其珍贵。以前，由于没有及时获取消息，许多战士为此付出生命。

For the Red Army, however, the “Half Radio”was extremely precious. Prior to its availability, many of our soldiers paid their lives for the the paucity of timely information .

不久后，敌人向中央苏区发动第二次“围剿”。红军靠着修复过的电台，听到了敌军的行动方案。经过周密部署，捷报频频传来，电台立下了汗马功劳。

Soon after, the enemy launched a second “encirclement and suppression” campaign against the Central Soviet Area. The Red Army heard the enemy’s operation plan   by using the repaired radio. After careful deployment, the Red Army foiled the  enemy’s action and broadcast the good news of victories one piece after another, and during its course the radio played a great role.

1931年2月，红一方面军举办了第一期无线电队训练班，培养无线电技术人才。

In February 1931, the First Route Army of the Red Army organized the first radio team training course to train the weirless technical personnel.

1931年11月7日，新华通讯社的前身，红色中华通讯社成立。

On November 7, 1931, the Chinese Soviet Radio ( CSR) was established, which is the predecessor of the red Xinhua News Agency.

红军的这些电台使得红中社，有了建社的技术保障。宣告了中国共产党领导下的，一个新型的通讯社的诞生。

These radios of the Red Army have given CSR the technical gurantee for the establishment of the Agency. It announced the birth of a new type of news agency under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

电台立下汗马功劳

从此，中国劳苦大众的声音,通过红中社发出的电波，越过万水千山，传向全中国、全世界。

From then on, the voices of the poor people in China，through the CSR radio waves, traveled across thousands of rivers and mountains, and spread to the whole China and all over the rest of the world.

红军的这“半部电台”一直没被丢弃，它陪着红军战士走完了漫漫长征路。在一次次战斗中立下大功，是红军战士艰苦奋斗、不畏牺牲的见证。

The“Half Radio”of the Red Army has not been discarded, and it has accompanied the Red Army soldiers along the Long March. Having made great achievements in battles, it is a testimony to the hard work and sacrifice of the Red Army soldiers.

由“半部电台”起家的人民解放军通信事业，如今已发展成为一支专业技术兵种。在作战、抢险救灾以及支援国家建设中，出色完成了各项通信保障任务。

The communications business of the People’s Liberation Army, which started with  a “Half Radio”, has now developed into a professional and technical force. In combat, rescue and disaster relief, and support for national construction, the force has successfully completed various tasks in supplying communications service.
