2020年，农工党南昌县总支退休党员谭某已经74岁了,女儿是南昌澳门沙金在线平台第二附属医院援助湖北医疗队的医务人员。在出征集结号响起之时，她义无反顾地随着江西省第六批援助湖北医疗队踏上征程。

In 2020, Mr. Tan, a retired member of the Nanchang County General Branch of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party, was 74 years old. His daughter, a staffer of the No. 2 Hospital Affiliated to Nanchang University, enlisted as a member of the medical team to assist Hubei. She joined the sixth batch of medical team of Jiangxi Province and left for Hubei without any hesitation the moment she was summoned.

得知女儿援助湖北的消息后，谭某不禁思绪万千。他说，仿佛看到女儿弱小的身躯携带着沉重的战疫“武器”，和全国广大医务人员共同肩扛重任。

On learning that his daughter was to assist Hubei, Mr. Tan was lost in a myriad of thoughts. He said it was as though he saw his daughter, whose body slim and small, carrying a heavy weapon and fighting against the pandemic with her colleagues from all over the country.

来不及给女儿送别，只能在电话中对女儿说:“在疫情面前，医务人员不惧风险、不惧困难、不怕牺牲、逆行而上、舍生忘死，勇做护佑生命的基石。女儿，我曾经也是一名医护工作者，我支持你的选择，家里的一切有我们。”

There was no time seeing his daughter off, so he could only tell her over the phone: “In face of the pandemic, medical workers are the cornerstone protecting people’s lives, unafraid of difficulties, risks, or even sacrifices. They go upstream regardless of their own safety. Dear daughter, I used to be a medical worker, too. I understand you and support you of your choice. Don’t worry about our family! We can take good care of ourselves.”
